Welcome to 2011

January 11, 2011 in Beachside Blog, Blog

Just a quick HELLO…
2011
To welcome you back to work after your well deserved Summer break.  I’m not going to give to you any wishy washy “welcome to 2011, i hope that this year…blah blah blah” as I am sure that you have already read that at least 20 times as you slowly go through the deluge of emails (most of which I’m sure will also be asking you about completion dates for the build of the website, or to plan the next promotional campaign or when the ads are due in such and such magazine…), all that have been quietly mounting up whilst you’ve been sipping on your cold beer or chardy, wishing, hoping that coming back to work was a distant thought!!

Anyway, all I wanted to say is “we’re is here for you!”

However daunting all those email requests may seem, as your outsourced marketing and creative department we can become your flexible, scalable resource which can provide you with as much of your marketing and creative support function as you need. Whether it’s Marketing Strategy, Brand Building or Creative, Web or Print solutions, we will plan, organise and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of that daunting project and assist you in meeting specific project goals and objectives, whilst all of the time working with you.

So, that said, Happy 2011, welcome back and I look forward to hearing from you soon (just after you’ve finished going through that deluge of emails, had a coffee and decided that really, 2011 is just like 2010 but just with a number 1 at the end!)

3 Slightly different New Years Resolutions…

To Break a World Record

Looking to set new goals? Work to get the most body piercings this year, make the world’s largest pancake, or jump on a pogo stick for the longest amount of time ever.

For those who feel slightly less ambitious, there’s always the option to try to break the world record for the longest time spent in a rocking chair!

Learn a Less-Than-Useful Skill

While taxidermy and accordion-playing are definitely useful in some circles, they are not widely regarded as useful skills. Why not pursue one of these unusual skills?

Learning a hobby that others find endearing, obsessive, or just plain odd may be just the right New Year’s resolution and it may actually lead to an interesting new life path.

Adopt a New Vice

New Year’s resolutions often fail, so this resolution starts where the proactive resolutions leave off. Why not adopt a new bad habit for New Year’s? A bad habit like drinking wine or taking long, lazy walks may not actually be such a bad thing.

Resolve to get in there and enjoy life!
