Relish Mama is the cooking class and dinner party in one. Relish Mama teach Hands on cooking classes (no pressure if you would prefer to simply observe) using wonderful fresh, seasonal ingredients in a lovely, intimate and very social enviroment’. A wide variety of classes are on offer including the likes of Thai, Italian, Vietnamese, ‘Blokes only’ classes, Mid week inspiration classes for healthy and tasty fast dishes the whole family will love, Morroccan, Indian, Pizza making workshops as well as festive Christmas classes. They also offer wonderful hands on classes for children each school holidays. Nellie loves good food and loves how food brings people together. Everything cooked in the class is later enjoyed around a beautifully set table, including wine and good cheer! Private and Corporate classes are also available.

The Task

We were approached by Nellie at Relish Mama to help redesign and refresh her website. This was a crucial decision as Nellie relies 100% on the web for her business and as such could not afford any downtime.

Nellie needed the ability to take bookings online, easily update her classes and information, link to her blog and other social media and not be limited by a confusing Content Management System, all for a very modest budget. We decided that a custom Word Press build would be the only way to answer all Nellie’s concerns. Word press is great for SEO (search engine optimisation), easy to use and has a variety of plugins, such as recipe press that allowed us to redevelop the Relish Mama platform on time and on budget. We have now gone on to look at Regular Newsletter design and distribution, Online Reputation Management, Off Page SEO and are currently supporting Nellie as her outsourced Marketing Resource.
