Are you working harder or smarter?

Did you know? Most people waste up to 50% of their time trying to do things at work that aren’t actually productive. 

I know that if my car breaks down I need a mechanic, even though I know a fair bit about cars.

If I have a toothache I call the dentist.

 

If I need to write a press release I will use a PR professional, despite the fact that I write for a living.

 

There are some things that I can do well and there are other things that I can do, but probably shouldn’t. These things are a waste of my time and unless they’re a hobby (like fixing cars) they should be left to the professionals, because ultimately they end up costing me time and money.

Sure most people know a little about Marketing, and who couldn’t build a Website, write a newsletter, draft a Press Release or design a logo, the truth is, everyone can… but should you… really?
